Bus Giveaway !

The essay contest for the Lucky Group of Companies passenger bus giveaway is now closed, please check back to see which organizations are lucky winners of a 47-seat luxury passenger bus.

The contest, announced in July, accepted essay submission until Friday, August 14, 2009 at 5 P.M. The winning non-profit organizations will be announced soon. Participating non-profits were asked to write an essay about the organization or institution, the work or service they provide, how the bus would be used, and how having the bus would help the organizational mission.

OFFICIAL RULES:

Submit an essay, no longer than 250 words in length, describing your non-profit organization, its mission, how it could use a bus and how having a bus would help it achieve its mission.

Submit proof of your organizations tax-exempt, non-profit status.

Entries must be submitted and received by 5:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2009.

Entries must include the name of the writer and the non-profit organization being represented.

All authors must be adults, over 18 years of age, and legal residents of the United States.

The judges will read each essay and determine the winner(s) based on which entry they deem would make the best public service use of the bus. The decision of the judges is final.

Winner(s) will be announced at a public event on August 18th.

Entrants agree that their names, organizations, and submissions may be used for promotional purposes.

Entrants agree to hold harmless Lucky Group of Companies from all liability stemming from disputes or damages arising from their participation in this event.

Entrants agree to purchase all necessary insurance prior to receiving bus.
